Will Love change Your Eating Habits?

Will Love change Your Eating Habits?

Will love change your eating habit? It has been said that we all break down when we fall in love and do almost anything to please our new partner. I know for a fact that this is true. You must have done a similar thing in the past to please a partner or in a former relationship.

I spoke to a friend at the weekend and she mentioned that her boyfriend was once a vegetarian and proud of it too. He was always referring to the reasons why he chose to be one. Although he knew she was a meat eater and was not going to change. It did not stop him from always reminding her.

He was ill in bed and she offered to pop round and prepare light to help him recover. He was obviously pleased she had taken interest to the level of actually wanting to cook for him. Not many new partners offer such a service. Especially in the 2nd week of meeting each other. Would you do such a thing?

After arriving at his doorstep she quickly reminded him while she was going to cook she was not interested in having it without mea and she had bought some sausages in addition. But, his response was quite surprising to her. He 'well if you that is what you want, I am ok with it'. Which she find rather shocking to say the least, but asjked if he was completely sure?

I am sure he had a reason to be one but obviously he did not want to upset her by refusing to eat meat. You have to think whether dropping your principles for the love of your partner is really a good idea. Saying that, they have been together for over 5years and planning a their wedding. So, maybe in this instance it worked quite well.

Maybe he was not really a vegetarian after all, he probably chose to be one to impress women. It is known that people will do anything to get what they want. This is no exception. Impressing someone is what most people try to achieve everytime. And most of the time we know it but like the idea as it is a feelgood factor. Often in dating we offer or bend our rules to please someone.
