Eharmony Profile Details

Eharmony Profile Details

Eharmony was founded by Nick Warren Clark CEO, One of the main financial funds came from Sequoia, Technology Crossover Ventures and private individuals. Eharmony began business in 2000. The founder an evangelical christian and has written books, which are in bookstores in conjunction with his believes. As such the methods used to match couples is a scientific formula which has produced some outstanding results. But, methods used by Eharmony are in question. The reason being if you visit the site, service is not open completely and denies certain individuals. Being a member you will expect any kind of combination to achieve your goals. But not so!.

Selected personality profiles are a good thing, but when you are unable to match people because of their race, ethnic, religion, preferences and you are rejected. Gay and lesbian are not accepted in Eharmony. They say it is illigal to be gay or lesbian in USA or certain parts anyway. But the CEO does wish them well in their search to find the perfect partner. Only not with Eharmony program. Basically the matching procedure is like for like . . black to black, white to white and so on. But where how do you determine when the combinations become a but confusing how to select? Answer . . .

Reasons given are not in this day and age acceptable, a review has to be done and a preview to be shown to have made some progress in this 21st century. It's ok to create a company and have exclusive entry. There is no law against this, but are touting services which is dating which should be on a broader basis. So, promotion should encourage membership to be more diverse. The development of eharmony has been helped by James Dobson's Focus on the family show. Which has been a good promotional starting the business on the right foot.

Wikipedia the encyclopedia has written a more comprehensive article regarding the history of eharmony. This is not the purpose of this article. But to highlight the codes which eharmony have set and I find it to be in general not a healthy option. A person chooses to visit a site to find partner for longterm relationship or marriage. Who has the right to decide which match is ideal?. This expands into various combinations, and can only lead to loss of membership. If your personality is not in the norm, then you will probably have difficult being accepted. 500 plus questions for you to fill out!. Only to be rejected without a reason. The code or which has rejected your application is not revealed to you. This does not do much for your heart being broken before you start your selections.

This accomplishes one thing that we all do not like rejection. You will not be receiving coupons as a member and your spirit will be low during this month. But, rest assured there are other online dating sites that do not discriminate against your choice of partner.

PS: This is a personal view on eharmony and does not detract from thier method of selection in matchmaking. It is a very successful busness enterprise and grosses over $70million in 2004. So, the present will approach near 100million(don't quote me on this!).

It is a matter of choice, as there no rules against the selection, just a point of discussion. . .Allow me to indulge
